Aurelie Prisca Youngang is a PhD student at the University of Yaounde I. Her masters studies centred on arbovirus vector at the Organisation de Coordination pour la lutte contre les Endemies en Afrique Centrale (OCEAC) supervised by Prof Charles Wondji, Prof Flobert Njiokou and Dr Basile Kamgang.
Following a successful master programme, Aurelie proceeded to a PhD in Parasitology and ecology at the University of Yaounde I and now doing a PhD thesis at the Centre for Research in Infectious Diseases on the Assessment of the resistance profile to insecticides in Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus (Diptera: Culicidae), vectors of arboviral diseases in Cameroon. This work carried out as part of Dr Basile Kamgang’s Wellcome Trust Fellowship project.
