Scientists at the Centre for Research in Infectious Diseases (CRID), Doctors SIMO Huguette and DJUICY Delia were interviewed by the French University Agency at the end of their stay at the Regional Doctoral School of Central Africa in Tropical Infection where they have completed their academic studies.
Coming from the Regional Doctoral School, these young female PhDs recently braved the steps to join the dynamic team of CRID researchers as a post doc. In addition, Dr SIMO H. is working on the Partnership for Increasing the Impact of Vector Control (PIIVeC) project at CRID and Dr DJUICY D. is a researcher with CRID and also supervisor to some students.
In collaboration with the French University Agency, the Regional Doctoral School of Central Africa in Tropical Infection is a project that aims to train African Specialists in infectious diseases by pooling skills and knowledge of the French-speaking world. The applications will contribute to improving the population of the Central African States.
