REINFORCING THE CAPACITY OF ENTOMOLOGISTS ON NEW WHO PROTOCOLES TO ASSESS THE SUSCEPTIBILITY PROFILE OF MALARIA VECTOR TO INSECTICIDES.

As a researh centre with modern facilities to accompany researchers and research institutions, CRID, hosted a three day capacity building workshop organised by PMI Vectorlink.

Characterised by moments of scientific discussions – work ethics; employer-employee relationship, being a public holiday, the entire staff of CRID kept hands off work on the labour day and dedicated the day in discussing issues that affect them directly or indirectly; salary raise, work leave, maternity leave for women, internal communication, equality/equity at work, women in science, favourable work space void of sexual harassment, respect for co-workers and the staff was also encouraged to make valuable suggestions to help the organisation meet its objectives.

Hard work never goes unnoticed, recognizing and applauding the efforts made by the staff for CRID to attain its objectives was central, an item meticulously directed by the Executive Director, Prof Charles Wondji

Setting up for games and leisure

As it is said, all work without play makes Jack a dull boy, the Labour Day celebration was also marked by leisure and intellectual games which helped the team relax and bond which are necessary elements for a comfortable and productive work place.
