To celebrate the International Workers’ Day 2018, the CRID under the coordination of its Executive Director, Professor Charles Wondji, organised a sumptuous buffet for members of the institution within its premises.

In a relaxed atmosphere, the day started with discussions focused on an article from the web site opiniomics.org on ” Tips for PhD students and early-career researchers” http://www.opiniomics.org/tips-for-phd-students-and -early-career-Researchers /. This article gives tips and guidelines to students and young researchers on how to integrate into their working environment and how to be productive as scientists.

Contributions from CRID’s PIs boosted the discussions at the gathering which was well attended by the students. The students also benefited from the experiences shared by the likes of Prof. Njiokou (Deputy Executive Director) and Dr Antonio (Wellcome Trust Senior Fellow, OCEAC) whose team joined their counterpart at CRID to celebrate the occasion.

This very fruitful and rewarding exchange ended with an appetizing buffet.

Happy labor day !
